| unknown I Married a Witch (1942) |
CougarTim ![]() | I found this picture of a '36 LaSalle with what may be a similar ridge online: http://www.webkits.com.br/news/articlefiles/393-Las-03.jpg It's from this website (scroll down to the section on "LaSalle 1936"). I can't offer any more information because I can't read Portugese: http://www.webkits.com.br/news/templates/news.asp?articleid=393&zoneid=24 |

pilou ![]() | I think that this raised ridge on the whole lenght of the roof is some sort of accessory embelishment.Obviously it is a 3 window coupe with front-hinged security doors and that limits the choice .It does seem to have high placed non integrated headlights , so I would exclude a late thirties/forties Willys .I would be more tempted to go for a 1936 GM product, a Pontiac , Oldsmobile or La Salle. The 1936 La Salle had a raised midline roof ridge embossed in the roof panel , but this only covered the front part of the roof above the windshield .This one is really puzzling and too badly visible. | 2008-02-09 10:04

| 1941 Cadillac Series 67 Touring Sedan I Married a Witch (1942) |
mrcadillac ![]() | Without a decent side view or rear 3/4 view, it's hard to tell if the car has a "fast-back" rear (making it a Series 63) or a conventional trunk (making it a Series 67, as spotted by "pilou"). In terms of production numbers, there were more "63"s than "67"s. But let's give "pilou" the benefit of the doubt in this case. | 2008-02-08 16:57

| 1941 Mercury Eight Sedan Coupe [19A-72] I Married a Witch (1942) |
pilou ![]() | This is a 1941 Mercury Coupe Sedan ( series 19 A).It can be spotted by the left thumbnail :it shows that the central front fender trim line runs straight to the headlights , on 1941 Fords it bended under the headlights. It also appears to have the Mercury Eight script on the hood under the beltline strip. | 2008-02-08 12:11
