ingo | The descent of the formerly well-reputed Mercedes Benz-quality started in the mid 90ies, since ca.1993/94 and continued, when this model was built. It was appaling, when I recently saw a W220 in my village, which had a fist.sized rust-area on one back door, plus other edges, which became brown.  Sure, VW's and Opels had such problems, too in that years (for example my 1999 Omega B), but a S-Klasse is a total different price- and reputation-category  |
