This one sports a stock original radiator cap/ornament which was usually replaced by taller, more fancier types by the dealers or by the new owner. I have both and the longer chassis of the Century means the front fenders move further forward leaving more exposed bottom of cowl, whereas the Special fender go back almost to the start of the door making a shorter running board.	2009-08-19 10:28

The Buick is more likely a 1930 model...the 1931 editions are virtually identical visually to the 1930 models, except that the '31s have a "winged 8" radiator cap signifying the new-for-1931 straight-eight engine.
