1927 Bugatti Type 40
The Gay Divorcee (1934)
fortengo HUI'm almost sure that this Bugatti is the 1927/28 Type 38A Murphy Roadster [chassis# 38435], starring also in "Christopher Strong", produced by the same studio a year earlier.

Citation The car you show on your site and call a MG J 1 you have named incorrect – it is not a J 1 you are showing but a J 2 !!!

You can see a J 1 here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LEEt-u4pGI

A MG J2 only has 2 seats and the fuel tank is sitting outside on the rear – The J 1 model is a 2+2 seater and the tank is inside the body.

The Gay Divorcee (1934) chicomarx BEhello Finland,

that scene shows the Duesenberg and MG Midget doesn't it? Both are above.

Originally there was just one entry here "Bugatti" with no picture. That's why I wrote "There's no Bugatti", since they could only have mistaken the MG for one...
