| 1926 Buick Master Six 5-Passenger Brougham Sedan [26-51] Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933) |
pilou ![]() | It is a 1926 Buick model 26- 51 Master Six 5 passenger Brougham Sedan on the 128 inches wheelbase. It had oval rear quarter windows and dummy landau irons set on the quarter. The rear panels were covered in rubberized fabric. The disc wheels may be confusing , but in 1926 disc wheels were available as an option on all Buicks though they were not popular except with some commercial chassis.A nice factory picture of a model 26-51 was published in Antique Automobiles ( AACA) vol 35 n° 2 march 1971 page 36. In 1926 Buick produced a specific taxi body ( the model 26-50 T) but this was a standard sedan , not a brougham and only 220 were produced and all sold to the Detroit Cab Co. 10.873 units of the model 26-51 brougham were produced. | 2008-08-28 11:45

Skywatcher68 ![]() | Looks like a '27 Studebaker to me. thehamiltonchaptersdc.ca/AutoShow27Limo.jpg 'Course, Packard had that style as well. www.autogallery.org.ru/k/p/27pac6_4drsedan_NAC.jpg Perhaps Warner Bros. picked up a Packard that had been to a coachbuilder? -- Last edit: 2008-08-27 16:26:46 |

Raul1983 ![]() | This must be the same ambulance John Fuller owns today. Warner Bros. used this car for many movies. See other posts: /vehicle_80181-Studebaker-Big-Six-1924.html |

nzcarnerd ![]() | It somehow doesn't look right for a Yellow Cab, nor for a Checker. The radiator has a packard look to it and the body is very like a 1926 Packard 326 but I am not sure about the 'brougham' style at the back. This was seen on Buicks and Oaklands amongst others. The wheels look more like those of Nash. Confused? - so am I. | 2008-08-27 11:46

fortengo ![]() | Apparently has the bonnet of a V12: I’d say it is a 1932 12-160 (or 12-160A) Cabriolet. | 2008-08-27 01:28
