1988 Ford Mustang The 6th Day (2000)	Wampa-One	I have done some further research and as far as I am able to tell, it appears that Ford restyled the side-view mirrors on the convertible version only of the Mustang beginning in 1988 so that the mirrors gained more of a post and were no longer “wedge” shaped as on the hardtop versions. I can see how people can mix that up, but just hope you remember. I assume you've gotten most of your information from wikipedia?
