Die Drei von der Tankstelle (1930)		 1929 challenger CAGood day everyone, The 1928 Essex doesn't have full metal wheels and doesn't fuel from underneath the hood. This car is not an Essex at all. The Headlights and front bumper are not Essex. The 1928 Essex has cowl lights real close to the Hood. Not this one. See the 1928 Essex on my web site; www.essexcanada.wordpress.com

a S Cabriolet, from around 1927-1929, though it may be a SS if produced from 1928.
Note the upright windscreen and the two stars on the radiator shell
S, according to English literature, stood for Sports and SS Super Sports.
It was a lowered and shortened K, carried engines of 6.8 litre and 7.1 litre.

Concernant ce film-ci, il fut en France (et en Belgique) un immense succès. Mais sous le nom "Le chemin du Paradis" avec comme acteur principal, le célèbre Henri Garat.

Ce film est resté dans la mémoire à cause de la chanson "Avoir un bon copain" (Paroles: Jean Boyer. Musique: W.Heymann)
