| Safeguard Series 500 Le marquis (2011) |
APS221 ![]() | Yes, they seem to be pretty common armored car/bank van in the Philippines. The orange color seems to indicate it is from Armortech (http://www.armortech.ph/). Here is an Armortech armored car: ![]() Here is a similar armored car from Safeguard Armor Security Corporation (SASCOR): ![]() According to Safeguard's website (http://www.safeguard.com.ph/pages/home.html) they produce these vehicles. ![]() This one appears to be called the Safeguard Armor Series 500. The Isuzu armored cars I found online are usually based on the 600P. I suspect these are based on the 600P, but the chassis used isn't listed on the website. -- Last edit: 2012-02-11 22:33:36 |

| Nissan 1400 LDV [B140] Le marquis (2011) |
Citsa ![]() | I did consider the possibility that this is a B120 Series Sunny truck, as was available in many locations, that was "facelifted" with a grille from the ZA B140 1400 "Bakkie". This one has the low roof, as opposed to the higher roof and longer cab of the 1400 Bakkie by the time it got the grille and lights in the picture. Agree therefore that it should then probably not labeled a 1400 "bakkie" but rather a B120 Sunny Truck. |

| Nissan 1400 LDV [B140] Le marquis (2011) |
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | Nissan has a factory in the Philippines - perhaps the B140 was assembled there using parts from South Africa. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Motors#Manufacturing_locations Anyway, you can just about see this one is left hand drive, so I wouldn't count it as "Made for: ZA", -- Last edit: 2011-07-19 01:56:01 |
