| 1972 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 The Next Karate Kid (1994) |
oldsmo70 ![]() | I have the other Olds that was used in the film. Bought it in Somerville MA and now it resides in a garage. I swapped the motor out (it wasn't the original motor) with a 69 455, blew the tranny, and now she collects dust. Glad to hear the sister car is still around as of 2007. | 2009-07-28 22:53
| 1993 Ford Crown Victoria [P71] The Next Karate Kid (1994) |
ford_guy ![]() | Well the tailights already reveal that it's a 1993-1994 model, and even if we couldn't see those, the movie is from 1994, so yeah... | 2009-06-26 19:48

matty ![]() | If there was a better view of the grill, I could probably tell if it's a 1993-1994 or a 1995-1997. | 2009-06-26 18:56

| 1972 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 The Next Karate Kid (1994) |
oldsman ![]() | This 1972 Olds 442 W-30 was one of three used in the movie. They destroyed one, we own the one pictured above, but don't know where the other is. We still have some of the glass when they broke the window and we have the original bumper (notice in the front picture it is pushed in somewhat). A rear spoiler was added after. The car has been restored and is now in great shape. We love driving it all over the northeast. | 2006-09-07 01:02

| 1993 Buick Park Avenue Ultra 'Gran Touring' The Next Karate Kid (1994) |
philr ![]() | It's a 1993 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with the "Gran Touring" package (16" wheels and suspension upgrade). It has different grille and taillights from the 1991-92 and if I remember well, there were shots of the interior in the movie showing the 1991-93 steering wheel or glove box. The 1990 model is completely different. This generation was built from 1991 to 1996. Here are pictures of my similar 1991 ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-02-24 02:20:55 |
