DynaMike  | Great, Dave! Quite convincing, indeed, but not yet 100%: the convertible and the wagon also don't have the Styleline DeLuxe name, since these were not available as Styleline Special. Also the Bel Air had chassis code [2154] in the years 1950-1952, [21..] for the Styleline DeLuxe series, [..54] for the hardtop coupe version, whereas since 1953 there were four Bel Air models (2-door sedan, 4-door sedan, convertible and hardtop coupe) with the code [24xx], apart from the Two-Ten DeLuxe series (7 models with [21xx]). It is fine with me to leave it listed just as Bel Air tout court, but I was only wondering and nickpicking (and, like all of us, reaching the most possible accuracy). |
