Skywatcher68 USLooks a bit like an International Harvester Metro but I'm not sure. 2008-04-02 21:25
Kooshmeister USExcept for the grille the front end does look a little bit like an IH Metro. What always threw me about its appearance was the short space between the front and back wheels, but the longer back end. Usually with these step-vans, a shorter body means a short back end. I admit that I, personally, have never seen a small, short step-van with an extended back end like this one's got.

So what is this thing? It's a stone's throw away from being labeled Made For Movie, I'll bet. In fact, that would kind of make sense, given its ultimate fate. A "build it just to wreck it" kind of deal. But every other car in the movie is a real car, so if this IS a one-of-a-kind, perhaps an in-story explanation could be that the kids built it themselves? Or at least modified it from something else. They did seem pretty handy at tinkering with automobiles, after all.
