I agree with Firebird86 - it's hard to say if thats a Chevy or GMC? -- Last edit: 2007-04-10 04:40:15 |

It's a 1951 Chevrolet/GMC truck. 1947-50 didn't have wing windows. 1951 was the first year for that. Also it appears the door handle is sagging a little which 1951 was the last year for the pull down door handle as 1952 went to push button. -- Last edit: 2007-04-11 04:30:13 |

• No wind/vent window on the right door but, above all, no fuel-filler cap on the back of the cab make it a 1947-48 model. What seems to be a vent window on the left door indicates more likely that the door has been changed later... • A light- or medium-duty model for sure (Thrifmaster 3103 / 3104 or 3603 / 3604 if Chevrolet, FC-101, FC-102 or FC-152 if GMC), but nothing to say if it is a Chevrolet Advance-Design model or a GMC New Design one; ⇒ 1947 GM (Tow-truck?) -- Last edit: 2014-12-28 01:40:23 |

Anyone else find it funny that the tow truck in 1955 has tail lights from a mid 70s GM van platform? |
