Looks like a pre-war(?) Fordson. Something big and American behind it?

Commer Van (probably 10cwt or 12cwt?)

as here.... http://www.chrishodgephotos.co.uk/pixcma2/aah792.jpg

The car behind it is a Vauxhall Velox/Wyvern [E] (another example that is more visible is listed as background for this movie).

Its either a late 30s Commer N series Forward Control (N1/N3) or a Q25 Superpoise Forward Control and wth the smaller lights, I would go for the latter. The Q25 F/C was made both sides of the war and I think this is a post war model due to the separate windows - all pre-wars I've seen had a windscreen split into two horizontal panels. A Forward Control Q25 I have recently found can be seen here - http://www.commer.org.nz/Commer%20Connections/Q25FC.html

Thanks redbeard45, an interesting Commer that I don't remember seeing before. :)

Another example of a late 1940s Q25 is seen here about halfway down in a bit better condition. ;)
