In the episode, the vehicle was used by a gang of thieves responsible for a series of brutal murders committed during raids on several farmhouses near Goderville about 194km north of Paris. The gang in the episode consisted of two men from Czechoslovakia who worked on the shop floor at the Citroën Factory and the girlfriend of one of the men also from Czechoslovakia. The gang's leader was a former foreman who worked at Citroën and would selected the farms after hearing about them from other Citroën workers who previously worked at those farms as temporary workers during the summer months. After each murder, the gang's leader would keep the valuable items stolen from the farmhouses hidden in the van and sell them off to a fence he knew and uses the money that he received from selling the stolen items to spend on both his lifestyle and on his mistress. -- Last edit: 2021-09-19 16:45:50 |
