In 1956 no Pontiac Chieftain, only Star Chief, 870 and 860, look the brochure for Catalina's 1956 http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/pontiac/1956pon/bilder/3.jpg |

For the badge in the door it's a Star Chief |

A 1956 car looked so old in 1971 traffic. By contrast, a 2001 model car blends right in today. |

Yesterday, I saw circa 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera on the road and seems to be out of place in the 2000s/2010s era cars on the road |

Of course, an '89 Olds is now 28 model years old. The Pontiac in the subject photo was only 15 at the time. |

If you owned a '50s car in the late 60s and starting on until the mid-late 1970s. I don't know how the punchline occurred, but it said that people who owned cars in the '50s in the late '60s to mid-late '70s usually had thicker skin for their own sons. I bet the person here didn't have any thick skin! |
