Taillights indicate this to be a 1970 model. |

there is nothing that indicates that this car is a Charger '70, take a look at the roof for example -- Last edit: 2005-08-09 17:01:02 |

The only thing that is sure is that it was written "Charger R/T" on it |

this car is a 1970 Dodge Challenger |

The text written on it was more like "Charger" than Challenger", but since both text are similar and that I did not keep a picture where it was more visible, I am not sure. |

This car is quite obviously a 1970 dodge challenger R/T S.E. The overall shape of the body gives it away as a challenger ('70 chargers were boxier) The white bumblebee stripe, trunk lid and quarter R/T embilims (they appear just as small red marks on the above picture, but they are the right color, size and location to be R/T badges) show that this is an R/T (basically the high peformance version of the challenger) The size and shape of the rear window, as well as the S.E. trim behind the quarter window show that it is an S.E. (S.E. was a package that included smaller 'formal' rear window, carpet on the bottom of the door panels, different seats as well as a few other luxury options) |

Yep, it's an uber-rare RT/SE. The SE badge is visible on the rear pilar. This one is the desirable Mopar B5 blue color, with the unusual white interior and vinyl top, and the nice little matching bumblebee stripe on the back. Those appear to be small diameter (14 inch) wheels, so it's probably one of the lower engine options. I wonder if it has the pistol grip 4 speed with a console? -- Last edit: 2014-05-27 23:28:02 |
