Not a Graham.36/37 Grahams had a split rear window and rear doors opening in the safe direction.

I had another look at the book and I think it is a 1936 Plymouth.

1936/37 Plymouth, I'd go for - a neighbour has one (1937) in a similar colour, and I'm still trying to spot the difference.

I don't know what this is, but it is not a Plymouth or any other Chrysler product. The body lines and decklid are wrong and no MoPar of this vintage still had fender-mounted spare tires.

You guys are making this unnecessarily hard for yourself by assuming the sidemount spare is original. It's Cuba, of course it's not original. It's a Studebaker, and judging by the conventional doors, 36/37. It's definitely one of the smaller ones, so my guess would be a Dictator. Rear windscreen was split on 38s, so that lets that out. Now, is it a Custom or a Cruising Sedan...

Nah. It's clearly a '36 Mopar product. Most likely a Dodge, as these had side-mounted spares. Bumper shape matches, too. Only thing off is the missing fuel filler, which should be on the left rear fender.
