Apparently Lewis was the first place in UK - maybe the world (according to commentary) - to get a mobile bank in 1946 (apparently a converted ex-US army Studebaker left behind after WW2), but this plate OSC 822 was March-May 1956 Edinburgh issue. Text on back says National Bank of Scotland, Stornoway - the National Bank of Scotland eventually became part of today's Royal Bank of Scotland.

Albion Cairn MLH3 1955-1957

The Albion Cairn (30cwt) is interesting in ... its derivation from the heavier Claymore chassis ... it differs in respect of a lighter frame and suspension, smaller tyres and the use of a spiral-bevel rear axle
