The car in Harry Potter is a Ford Anglia 105E - released 1959, smaller, 2 door, and with a rear screen that was swept forward (i.e the top was further back than the bottom - google it and you'll see what I mean). The car in this movie was not a Ford, it was a Hillman Minx (released 1956) built under licence in Japan by Isuzu.
