Mid-'20s Alvis saloon - possibly a 12/50?

My thoughts are that this is too big to be a 12/4, and suggest it may well be an Austin 20/4 of about 1927.

MA 9305 = 1922, Cheshire. (Or if WA 9305 = Sheffield 1924, but I think MA). So model up for grabs again.

Austin 20 and 20/4...........1919 to 1930

Austin 12 and variants.......1922 to 1939

Therefore no change. My personal view is that it's a Twelve, the early Twenties were very large cars with a 3.6 litre engine, but amongst these experts....

That's fine by me - this one's never going to be clear cut either way. Plate date now 5 years earlier than previously-entered ID, which is why I rolled the dice again.

The Clifton was a tourer, this looks like a fabric Saloon to me.
