I have seen a picture of a quite similar car , a two -door break with woody panels build by carrozzeria Viotti of Turin in 1951 on a Fiat 1400 base. Viotti built several breaks for Fiat and Lancia. So my best guess for the moment is a somewhat more recent ( because of the two tone colour scheme on this car) Fiat 1400 or 1400 B ,early to mid-fifties,with coachwork by Viotti. But I will need the assistance of some senior Roman papparazzis to confirm !
So very interesting!...I guessed it was a special body on Fiat...then if it is a Viotti transformation, we should name it as a Fiat 1400 Viotti, don't you think?
Found further material on this car .As I suspected it is a Viotti Giardinetta but not on the Fiat 1400 base , but on the Fiat Nuova 1100/102 base .As the Fiat Nuova 1100/102 was launched in 1953 , the first Giardinettas produced by Viotti were also produced from 1953-1954 onwards .Viotti pictures show a similar car in one color with a straight chrome ornament on the side of the car .This one is a two-tone example with different side molding and could be a bit more recent .To conclude at this point :Fiat Nuova 1100/102 Giardinetta Viotti ca 1954-55.
