How can this be a 2005 when the HHR debuted as a 2006 model? Does that plate really say it's a 2005? |

Overseas they do this a lot. I know Gamer has fixed a lot of his old posts. Normally overseas the vehicles debut in the year they are made. For some reason with the US and probably a lot of other counries the vehicles come out the year before the model year. I don't know what site he used to pull the playe but I would bet the HHR was built kn 2005 but is in fact a 2006 model year. Can anyone overseas confirm this or do we revert back to 2005? For many years the British makes would close for the summer shut down for a two week period during which the production lines would be rejigged and stocks bought in to allow for the new models to be introduced. The annual motor show, at Olympia and then Earl’s Court, would be held in early autumn to display the cars to the public. As a result, the cars referred to as Year X would have been on offer for a three month period in year X-1.
