I believe that this is a 1967 model, not a 1968... Link to "www.cargurus.com" |

1967 did not had sidemarkers |

No, a 1967 model did not have side marker lamps. Look at the link that I provided of a 1968 model, and still tell me that the above vehicle is a 1968 model.. |

You are mistaking the Cougar nameplate for a sidemarker lamp 1967 Cougar - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3833709/1967-mercury-cougar/ |

what about the darker spot in the front fender ? |

PLEASE, pretty please take a look at the link for the 1968 Cougar and its rear sidemarker lamp.. Note the size of the large red reflector and compare it to the vehicle above.. It is a 1967... |

Looking at a different view of the front fender, it appears you are correct. |

yeah...with a different view it changes a little bit.... the spot in front fender might be caused by the bus bumper's shadow... -- Last edit: 2016-08-06 03:03:01 |

I'm here! What'd I miss? Oh look, a 1967 Cougar. |

that Cougar badge really fooled me... Mercury should have put a light inside it and use it as sidemarker to confuse me a little bit more... |
