Appears to be stock footage from the TV series. |

Probably as most of those left over after law enforcement usage were destroyed in various '80s era TV shows. |

Both reunion movies ("Reunion" in 97 and "Hollywood" in 2000) used old stock footage, from the original show, for some of the chase scenes--which was a little disappointing as I would have liked to have seen all new chase scenes (aka stunts). But, some of the stunts they did were new and not old ones. This pic of the old Monaco, however, does appear to be 80's stock footage from one of the old episodes...but I'm not sure it is also from the reunion movie? I don't remember a CMT logo appearing in the lower corner in the "Hollywood" reunion movie? It's been a few years since I've watched the "Hollywood" reunion and I don't remember if this scene was in it...maybe the beginning since most of the movie took place in L.A.?? Are we sure this pic is from the reunion movie? Since it has a CMT logo on it, maybe this actual pic is from one of the reruns currently airing on CMT. However, if CMT has aired the "Hollywood" reunion movie at some point, perhaps this scene is from that airing. -- Last edit: 2011-02-06 04:41:05 |

This old stock footage is from the Season 3 Episode “The Return of Hughie Hogg” when Hughie crashes into his cronies after trying to jump the bridge at Dry Creek. And yes, it was also repeated for the TV movie “Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion!” when Rosco and Cletus crashed into each other. |
