Can any detail help to say more than 1966-78 (1966-70, for the movie)? The plate says xxxx AQ 92, which means a mid-1969 plate number, but once more, if genuine, it just gives the last registration (which could be the first one too... or not).

I don't know anything solid about dating 1960s Transits, but the badge on rear door was I think a later addition (it would say something like Custom 90 or whatever). This looks a weedy one - thin wheels, poverty dash. I don't see why 69 plate date is wrong.

Original Mk I front, mini facelift in 1969.

Not wrong, just unsure for the model year of the van. It could be a 1967 or 1968 van bought by the coachbuilder and then re-registered in 1969 when sold to a last owner living in a different department: Paris was split in 4 departments in January 1968, so plates were more frequently changed in that area, from that time on.
As said several times the 1950-2009 plate numbers, when genuine, can't be used as clues due to their inaccuracy :)
