Is this movie on VHS in english version? Because it seems that it takes place in Europe and America.

On IMDB they list France & Canada as countries, but that does not mean that the movie was made there (though Canada is well possible I guess)

Is this what they consider a trucker's movie since there's lots of semi trucks?

Does Yves Montand Drive this Kenworth?

Yes, Yves Montand drives this Kenworth...

trucker wrote Is this what they consider a trucker's movie since there's lots of semi trucks?

...well not really, it's rather a thriller, but there are many trucks , european in the first part of the movie, and US in the second part, because Yves Montand is a "truck transport company" manager in the history

Rhino,

it's a 1975 at the very oldest because the double sleeper only came out in 1973 but, in 1973 the truck had gold logo's on the hood cause it was there 50th year anniversery & in 1974 logo's on Kenworth were chrome for some reason

the silver Kenworth W-900 is a 75-77 Kenworth W-900A & the gold & white kenworth W-900 in sixcyl thumbnail picture is a 1973 kenworth because the KW logo on the hood is gold and that was the year truck trucks had gold KW logo's for there 50th anniversery

The scene where the Kenworth flew off the road was done at a place called Horseshoe Bend on the Bridge River near Lillooet BC Canada in the summer of 1977. The stunt driver jumped into a car driven by his son at the last minute. I've been trying to find anything about this film for years and stumbled onto this site, thanks, I'll pass it on.

'65 and newer cab, high mount door handles make it no later than a '72. The torsion bar suspension, which can be seen in the side view between the fuel tank and the tire, directly below the frame rail, make the model # a W925. So this could be anywhere from a '65-'72 W925. The model #'s for the W900 conventionals and K100 cabovers were designated as follows:

W921/K121 4X2 Single drive rear axle
W922/K122 6X2 Single drive rear axle, tandem suspension (air, spring, or torsion bar) with a non-powered tag axle
W923/K123 6X4 tandem drive axles with 45000# GVW suspension - spring or air
W924/K124 6X4 tandem drive axles with 55000# GVW suspension - spring or air
W925/K125 6X4 tandem drive axles with 46000# GVW torsion bar suspension

@ Airhorn: interesting info. Wikipedia indicates 1967, for the new cab. Is there a possibility for you to give an external source for thee 1965 unveiling and the model names, please?
