Yes, I can see the front grill looks a lot like our pre-Tacoma model. We didn't call it Hilux. Come to think of it...I don't recall any specific model name. Can anyone remember what they were called in the US? |

Wikipedia says the name in the US was just Toyota Truck (and both they and the Tacoma have different chassis and mechanical configuarations to the corresponding Hilux models). |

See Gag Halfrunt's comment: that scene was made in Europe. So they imported Ford police cars, but for a background pickup they probably just took a local Hilux as only the name changes. |
