I'm not convinced it's an MG - body side shape is too straight for an A (or an A-H 3000) and film date probably too early for B. Something US such as Studebaker?? Packard?? Or?? |

Could it possibly be a Daimler SP250/Dart? |

Possibly - that's the best idea so far for something UK. But I'd be happier to agree if someone confirmed it's not anything US first. |

I have to agree about it being possibly a Studebaker; it looks to me to be very like a Studebaker Champion![]() |

I'd read that when the SP250 was unveiled at 1959 New York show (as Daimler Dart) its low, wide grille and fluted surround were criticised as too similar to the 1958 Packard Hawk which had been widely ridiculed for resembling an angry catfish and/or a vacuum-cleaner. That lodged in my mind and is why I made the Studebaker/Packard suggestions. |

Well..... Can't really say but 1955 Studebaker is as good a guess as any. But should we so list or leave as unknown pending any better photo? |
