I believe all Pioneers had 'coffee pot' radiators so probably not. It appears to be very high off the ground. maybe converted from solid tyres ? -- Last edit: 2016-04-20 08:26:12 |

Could be one of the Scammell chain drive Motive Units a MU ? OR a WW1 Leyland RAF Type converted to pneumatics ? http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p1017713397/h2dd96c09#h2dd96c09 -- Last edit: 2016-04-20 09:16:41 |

JCB I believe you were right about it being a Leyland, but slightly later than the subsidy, RAF type. Its radiator matches the Leyland G-Range better than the Scammell. The thickness of the sides of the radiator frame is slimmer I think than a Scammell's. The size and shape is very similar to this Leyland G-Range except for the cab roof which could have been replaced. |

Taller radiator here makes it a GH I believe. |
