dsl ◊ 2016-04-03 02:11	Not a lot of reliable detail to go on .... but assuming Aus-built means these tail-lights (UK Mk2) were later in Aus when they switched all Minis to Clubman front in 71. They are not the bigger aperture which appeared in early 80s after Leyland Aus stopped making Minis, so I don't go for a more recent import from UK.

Skid ◊ 2016-04-04 02:06	Built on a buggy chassis, with a Holden straight six engine. Apparently George Miller hated the result, which is why it's so seldom seen in the movie.
dsl ◊ 2016-04-04 03:19	Not much point in calling it a Clubman now, although rear body still matches. Front with grille is local build 1965 Cooper S in style, but I doubt they'd wreck a genuine Cooper S as they are serious money, so a lookalike cobblework. Not sure what the best ID is now.
