Link to "images.google.com" edit: I can't tell them apart unless I can see the rear end but I'm not a lincoln expert. they are very very diffrent from one another. the towncars front end is pointier than the continental and the continental doesn't have that little rear side window on it like the towncar does the inside is way diffrent than the towncars. and rear of the continental slopes down more than the towncar. and the continental has that little hump in the back that was a option for the continental if you wnated it on the continental. -- Last edit: 2007-02-19 05:20:54

I don't know the first year of the Continental sedan (excluding the Continentals of the 60's), but for most of the 80's, and through to around 2000, the Continental was a sedan (if I'm not mistaken, it was on the Fox chassis from '82-'86, and after that, it was Taurus-based).
