Convoys Ltd., of Royal George Wharf, Bankside, London SE1 used Leyland lorries, I have a picture of a 1933 Terrier six-wheeler in their livery, complete with headboard lettered in exactly similar style. The subject vehicle has a later cab design, with a curved bulge between the windscreen and the radiator as used on the 1934 onwards vehicles. It looks long enough to be a six wheeler, so maybe a later Terrier? The other six-wheeler possibility is a Hippo. http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/classic-car-images/hippo.jpg -- Last edit: 2016-03-14 12:49:24 |
