My mom had a 66 Coupe de Ville without a vinyl roof. They very became popular on the 67's. -- Last edit: 2007-02-21 22:25:48 |

Apparently according to this site, the calais had the Cadillac emblem and the V shaped trim underneath it, the De Ville did'nt. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/kowalskis/misc_pgs/bobs_1966_cadillac.htm http://www.100megsfree4.com/cadillac/cad1960/cad66s.htm -- Last edit: 2007-02-21 22:43:01 |

Both the DeVille and the Calais had the V trim under the hood emblem in 1966. The Eledorado had a wreath instead. So this car could be a DeVille too. |

Yes, I agree with philr. The "v" was used for all non-Fleetwood/Eldoardo models. |

I was speaking from what I had read on the 2 links I supplied. |

I believe you Firebird86. The information provided on those sites is erroneous. Our 66 Coupe de Ville had a "V" crest on the hood and the trunk lid. Link to "cgi.ebay.com" -- Last edit: 2007-02-22 01:21:35 |
