Third generation (or face-lifted, so 1992-1994) Ford Tempo, although I can not determine the trim level. But its likely a GL (or LX, as in 1993 and 1994 the GL and LX were the only models). |

Wouldnt it be an LX because I thought LX's didnt have any chrome trim? |

The Impala that this car is rear ending is this one: /vehicle_130014-Chevrolet-Impala-1981.html But this is a completely different film. |

I believe this is actually a Mercury Topaz, used in several scenes: -- Last edit: 2012-03-17 04:42:29 |

Indeed, those thumbnails shows as 1992-94 Mercury Topaz. |

If you even meet a specific banned user, don't tell him that. |

I always thought the Topaz had a lighter shade of turn signal lamp, but alas I looked in the Ford parts catalog and both the Tempo and Topaz use the same signal lense part. So without seeing the grille it's impossible to tell if this was a Tempo. However given the later sighting of a teal Topaz that gets its door ripped off by the speeding Firebird, safe to assume the filmmakers used the same car for all the bumps and abuse. |
