"Duple Motor Bodies, Ltd., however, have gone into production with a forward control successor to this popular series. It is based on the standard forward-control Bedford (C-type) 4-ton chassis, or the 5-ton chassis in the case of the oil-engined model, the wheelbase of which has been lengthened and the frame slightly modified to take coach body mountings."
