nzcarnerd ◊ 2007-02-20 11:23	Only the 98s had fender skirts. If you could pick whether it has the 119" or 125" wheelbase you could decide if it is a Special or a Dynamic. Pretty much impossible to nail down the year.
pilou ◊ 2007-02-20 12:43	The long hood ornament is 1946-1947 : 1948's had a round ornament , and it has a bar placed in the centre of the grille , so it cannot be a 1948 , but is a 1946 or 1947 , more probably a later 1947 ( movie is from 1950 and it has white sidewall tires that were rare on '46 cars ).Wheelbase looks the short version of 119 inches.I'd go for a 1947 Oldsmobile series 66 club coupe

Commander 57 ◊ 2015-03-01 19:18	It's a '46. Note smaller sized nameplate at the forward end of the side spear. The '47 had a larger plate. (I believe there is also a hood ornament difference too slight to be detected in the photo.)
