Studebaker Commander Convertible of 1948 : it has the chrome molding at the base of the hood and still the non-wraparound ( straight) bumpers.Introduced late in 1947 , the Commander Convertible had a one-piece windshield.

Correct on all counts, but to clarify, all Studebaker convertibles had one-piece windshields from the start of 1947 model production as did all 5 passenger coupes and Land Cruisers.

Notice also how the bumper guards changed from 1947 (which had units that were rounded and enlarged on the tops with horizontal fluting on the narrow, lower sections).
And how thoughtful to have the dash shot with the Commander name visible.

Revolvers were optional equipment, of course! (Pearl-handled on Regal Deluxe convertibles.)
