wickey ◊ 23-10-2005 à 12:36	it is hard to tell, because by wagons the differences between late 760 (1989-1990) and 940 (1990-1998) are almost none, but this is for 99% 760 wagon (1989) due to Volvo sign on side of vehicle.

wickey ◊ 23-10-2005 à 14:04	yes, the grille is from Turbo cars - but 760 was also made as B230FT and some Turbodiesels also have Turbo grill. With chromium trimming you are right, but the Volvo sign on side of car enden on 7xx series and on 9xx series was not any more.. Hard to tell :?
DAF555 ◊ 23-10-2005 à 14:22	It sure is. Hmm, since the car was about 15 years old when the film was made it could have been modified. I´ve looked through a lot of 700 and 900 series cars for sale now, and a great percentage of them are modified in some way. But the Volvo emblem on the fender belongs to the 740/760 so I´ll list it as 760 again since it´s the best guess for the moment.

gaupe ◊ 24-10-2005 à 18:23	This is NOT a Volvo 760, look at the wipers, on the late 760s and 960 the bonnet cover the wipers and extend all the way to the windshield. The car is probably a 740 Turbo/GLT or 940 Turbo/SE

DAF555 ◊ 2006-04-02 23:57	I just bought a reference book over the 1990 cars, and there it is, this 740 Turbo. The only 740 with this front, available only as 1990 model. I didn´t even know that they existed at first.
wickey ◊ 2006-04-03 01:39	yes, they had (volvo) in 1989-1990 pretty big mess in cars. - I mean 740 was available with small headlights front + this as Turbo (mostly B204FT), but also Turbodiesels had this front. 760s had this front since 1989 - their front looks same as 940s but I also saw one 940 with 740 small headlights front
