That is a strange car. The only 2 door sedan Mercury made in 55 was a Custom, but this car has the Monterey trim on the quarter panel. the Custom has a smaller vertical component, and the horizontal trim on the quarter is in line with the front fender chrome, unlike this one where the quarter trim is lower that the front fender chrome. |
