Haha, a moped-car. Aixam? |

Could also be a Ligier. There are a number of microcar manufacturers in the EU, especially in France. I remember seeing a vehicle like this here in my town, but can't remember the manufacturer. :-/ |

I would agree with Aixam. A540 maybe. |

possible, it is quite similar: Link to "cgi.ebay.fr" |

Aixam A540 from 1997 is almost identical, only the form of the doorwindow is different. So I think it is an Aixam, indeed, but a bit earlier (filmed in 1996), though I can't find the exact year |

Ligier has similar car but the rear lights are different. Car on the picture has what looks like the Peugeot 205-like rear lights, therefore I would agree with Weasel1984 Aixam but I'm no specialist to what the specific type is? |

Yesterday I had to smile -and to think at rljuna2 - when I saw in Winterswijk/NL such an Aixam - with a battery of four big chromated fog- and rallye-lamps (two yellow, two white) on the front. -- Last edit: 2010-10-14 21:28:06 |

Oh yeah, for those who wants to blind other driver such extreme light Super trivia on: Yesterday I was on my way home from university when a Mazda Miata with HID lamp fitted in the pop-up assembly was shining bright at my rear-view mirror and I can seen that owner put it on incorrect position. Gads, I hope that owner should get a ticket for putting on the HID headlights wrong Super trivia off -- Last edit: 2010-10-14 22:37:16 |

Rather for an optical "Get outta my way" for those in front. N.B.In the Netherlands their max.speed is 45 km/h. |

If the driver ever switches them on, the car probably slows down to 5mph due to the power drain. At least that's what happened to a schoolfriend who did the same to his Anglia 105E without understanding how to wire them in properly. We tried very hard not to laugh. |

@rljuna2: two weeks ago, when I made annother coffee-smuggling-tour to NL, I saw this microcar with the big foglamp-row again. When it parked on the ALDI-parking, there came annother Aixam and stopped besides it. So I could listen a bit to an Aixam-expert-talk. The first sentence of the other Aixam-ist was "Wow, so many big lights!" |

I can image they were speaking in German as I tried in Google Translate: „Wow, so viele große Lichter!“ |
◊ 2013-02-01 19:45 |
Err, no - they were speaking Dutch It was in the Netherlands. |
◊ 2013-02-01 19:48 |
Oops Okay, "Wow, zoveel grote lichten!" |
◊ 2013-02-01 19:48 |
It was about "grote koplampen" |

Sorry rjluna2: today, at annother coffee-smuggling-trip to NL, I had my camera with me. But no 45km/h-racer appeared, especially not that one with the many koplampen Maybe the next time. |

n 1995, AIXAM presented an updated model A 540 Twin with a 2-cylinder 479 cc diesel and automatic transmission. It also got a new body with exterior design similar to the previous models 325i / 325 GLi. More photos and info here - http://smallcarsclub.com/catalog/aixam/aixam-a-540-twin/ |
