It's annoying: this jeep is obviously a MB (see the grille) but with "big" headlights, like the three others with a role in the movie.

I don't know where and when this variant was made or adapted. 4x4peru, I need your (big) lights.

@DidierF You have answered the question. Yes these are WWII jeeps but w/ the larger headlight style of post-war Jeeps. Surplus WWII vehicles were plentiful and cheap around the world but replacement parts for them were not so common. The small sealed beam headlights of the MB/GPW were not as common as the larger size which was standard in most autos of the day. Therefore a common modification was to install the larger lights into the old style grille which protruded beyond the grille face. Another Jeep modification seen in this pic is the raised/curved top windshield. The upper portion of the windshield on some of these jeeps looks like the later M38/CJ3A. This provides more headroom when the canvas is in place and better water runoff compared to the early lower/flat style of the MB/ GPW/CJ2A.
