https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ein_Fall_f%C3%BCr_zwei#Autokennzeichen For non-German-speaking people: "The car plates of the vehicles used by the production were reused more times in the earliest episodes on different vehicles. This happened for several plates. Some plates appeared even on two or three consecutive episodes, so could they be easily recognized. For example, plate F-BU 97 was used in episode 30 (Immer Ärger mit Ado) on a taxi cab and in episode 31 (Der Versager) on the car of the main suspect; in episode 32 (Sechs Richtige) the plate belongs to a recurring BMW. A second example is found in episode 24 (Chemie eines Mordes) and in episode 25 (Die verlorene Nacht). Here the same plate of the murder car (24) can be found on the car of the victim's son (25): F-CR 308. Both plates appeared often again during the series (for example F-BU 97 in episode 39, and so on) In an episode they invented the plate of fictional location Gumpenheim (format: GU-XX 000). Otherwise they almost always used plates from Frankfurt, even if they were filming in other places of the region, for example Wiesbaden or Mainz. Various plates used characters not being released at that time, for example letter 'O', represented by a zero. Claus Theo Gärtner said later in an interview that one time he was stopped by the police during a private trip on a movie car carrying 40 fake plates in the boot (together with two sawed-off shotguns from the property manager)." -- Last edit: 2016-01-23 23:14:16 |
