fleetwood75 ◊ 2010-11-14 21:09	Orange & white Acapulco Things with fringed surrey tops were used in "Six Days, Seven Nights" as the courtesy vehicles for the resort hotel on Makatea Island, The blue & white Acapulco Things are my favorites though.

Safari ◊ 2011-07-20 09:29	Officially sold only 73 and 74 in the USA as all terrain vehicles. In 1975 5000 Things were sent to the USA and Ralph Nader who was the head of Consumers affairs acomplished to get the VW Thing banned so those cars were returned to Mexico to be sold.
