Newport Custom. Custom should be part of the name as well. It was it's own model between the base Newport and the 300. Custom's have that chrome and black trim along the lower beltline and the newport script on the front fender. Regular Newports have just chrome rocker trim, and the newport script on the quarter panel instead. |

From the description it looks more just like a trim level / version of the Newport rather than a model on its own |

Oops. Actually this is a regular newport...my mistake. What I thought was the chrome trim is just the shadow from the body line. You can see the newport script on the quarter in the 2nd pic. |

Looks just like the one purchased new by my parents back in the day. Eventually became my wheels I wish I never traded it. |
