It's a Dodge Omni : Link to "memimage.cardomain.net" While based on the Talbot Horizon design, the US Horizon/Omni was built in the USA and not in France. Early cars from 1978-80 used a carburated 1.7 VW engine similar to that used in the US spec Rabbit (Golf A1). Beginning in 1981, they used the same 2.2 engines as the Chrysler K-cars (Reliant/Aries). -- Last edit: 2007-02-10 00:24:06 |

and why not a Plymouth Horizon? without the front grill it's kinda hard to tell since the cars are almost identical. -- Last edit: 2007-02-10 01:35:48 |

Well, the car was originally conceived by Chrysler France, so it could be considered as a French car, even if built in USA (like the Japanese cars built in USA are not American cars...) |

That's not an Omni, is the Assan Fiat Spazio |

For me it looks more like an Omni than a Spazio... |

it's definitely an Omni/Horizon with a new Assan grill...it's just hard to tell if it's a Horizon or Omni. ![]() |
