Unusual vehicle in the background possibly some sort of emergency vehicle, has the look of both an ambulance and fire engine (double rear wheels and possible ladder)? Front not seen, will be moved to movie comments if nothing more can be found.

Location south Wales mining village or town.

Coal mine ambulance (which might require heavier duty oily bits than a road-only ambulance)?? Reminded me of this (though probably something different) - /vehicle_733724-Vauxhall-Big-Six-Ambulance-BXL-1934.html

I am almost certain that's the war-time 'AFS' or 'NFS' logo on the side.

In August 1941 the AFS Auxiliary Fire Service became the NFS National Fire Service.

edit: The vehicle looks to have been in use with a town or county brigade but the lettering removed from the sides.

Similar vehicle with side windows but likely earlier body.

From the rear wheel design, Fordson, Commer, Dodge and Dennis eliminated.

Bedford WHG or WLG are possibilities on a 2 or 3-ton chassis I guess. I hope something similar is found in the future showing the full vehicle.
