1947-55 GMC New Design truck. With apparently no vent window, thus a 1947-50 model. Which means a FC-Something GMC internal code, the XXX-22 being the one of the 1951-53 model years. So if a 100 model, the accurate model name is... 100 and the code is FC-101 or FC-102. 100 means a ½-ton payload with a 116"/2.95 m (FC-101) or a 125¼"/3.18 m (FC-102) wheelbase. But the longest wheelbase is also the one of the ¾-ton FC-152 model. Anyway, I'm not sure the pictures here help to see if it is a short or a long wheelbase... Shouldn't we just say: ⇒ 1947 GMC New Design? |
