@ dsl: The location of what seems to be bumper guards makes me think about a Dodge: 1972-80 D-Series / 1981-94 Ram. D-Series if round headlamps in square bezels, Ram if square headlamps. With a Crew Cab for sure, and what looks like dual rear wheels (Dually, in Dodge terminology). The "lightness" of the grille would lead me to see here a D-series.
