One of those 'Made for Movie MRAPs', I think. Looks like the 'Caiman Legacy' one in the first few pics: http://www.armytrucksinc.com/#!portfolio/c15pv |

MRPAS are not available for civilian use so most are fake for movie |

The Caiman is a real MRAP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BAE_Caiman |

Why said this is in 'civilian use'? It sports some sort of military 'sand camouflage' not very rare or surprising, especially when we consider the Pakistani flag on it. |

mike962 was talking about whether film companies can obtain real MRAPs. -- Last edit: 2015-09-14 23:46:59 |

Well, I still don't understand why it should be "made for movie". Doesn't it have a military (or used by corrupt military men) part in the movie? (I haven't seen this TV series.) |

Here it is supposed to be a military vehicle, but a replica is maybe more likely in a series than an actual military vehicle if there is a company renting these replicas for movies/series (since obviously a lot of other vehicles used in this one are rented) |

2Army Trucks Inc. had their own imitation MRAPs, the "Freemantor" and "Dictator", but then a Caiman turned up when the Department of Defense began to surplus them. The "Caiman Legacy" on the Army Trucks Inc. site looks like a real BAE Caiman, but the "Caiman CMTV" just seems to be the "Freemantor" under a different name. |
