Very long arroseuse. |

Grille looks very much like a 1940s Mack: The windshield and door windows look very small. I'd guess everything aft of the firewall is purpose-built. |

I'm guessing it's on a Mack fire engine chassis. |

Shouldn't it be a simple truck? |

Well… It is spreading water on the street (and on purpose). Isn't it a sufficent reason to make it a "sweeper/resurfacer"? (Maybe no. I'm not sure of me here.) |

This old truck is preforming the same job and is listed as a Simple Truck. I wonder if the Mack here should be listed as a Chassis Cab. |

Ummmm - even the purple pixie can't make up his mind here. But let's assume that a sprayer would not do its spraying without sweeping as well - not a lot of point really in spraying unswept litter ..... So sweeper/resurfacer makes best sense?? Otherwise it's probably more like a tanker so Simple Truck more useful than Chassis Cab?? |

Older than 1940 and an E-Series? |

Definitely an E Model. Probably an EH judging by the large fender but like Cougar Tim said everything from the windshield back is non-Mack, purpose built. |
